I mean come on. It was bound to happen eventually...

Hey. Welcome back to Thoughts with Fruppet. The Post based show where I go over a topic. And I've been avoiding this since I started doing these. It's time to talk about the funny plumber game.

I'm not gonna talk about "Oh! This game is such a good game because of this!" or "I'm gonna go over what I like about these games!". Instead, I'm gonna go over the entire series as a whole, talk about the goods and the bads, and discuss why so many people in the FNaF community as a whole aren't too big of a fan of the games.

OH! By the way, I'm not including Five Shows at Wario's in this, that deserves an entire TWF in itself

Five Nights at Wario's 1 (Normal and Deluxe):

Lets start with the game that started it all, FNaW 1. The original, not deluxe [yet]. It's... okay... it's not the best. It's pretty much just FNaF 1 but the graphics are slightly worse and Golden Freddy is actually just a normal character in the gang. It's definitely not the best, but it started up one of the more interesting Sub-Communities of FNaF.

Now I'm gonna talk about Deluxe briefly, cause we only have the first game at this point (and also 2 gameplay screenshots of FNaW 2 deluxe which I'm not covering). It fixed a LOT of things with the first, like the mechanics being too simple and making the game look way, WAY nicer. People who played the original and thought it was bad would immediately think that it was a different game.

Five Nights at Wario's 2 (The Thunder One):

This one was definitely better than the first game, it visually looked the same, but it's pretty much just FNaF 2 but with Nintendo Characters. You hide in the backroom whenever an enemy is in your room and that's pretty much just it. Mario acts similarly to his FNaW 1 counterpart and Toad acts like Foxy. The generator is pretty much just the Puppet except you don't die to the Puppet or a unique character, you die to Wario.

The 2.0 update doesn't help it either, it just makes it FNaW 1 for the classic mode! And to top it off, Yoshi appears as a EASTER EGG. He doesn't even attack you! So yeah, it's just kinda meh for what it is. Heres hoping that 2 Deluxe makes Bowser or Toad have a more unique mechanic. Bowser could especially do with a better mechanic.

Five Nights at Wario's 3 (The Changing One):

WwwWario was sitting at his desk one day and said to himself, "What if I made FNaW 3 be in a house... but you can change rooms." On that day, my love for this game... wasn't there, the game wasn't out. Present Day, it's one of my favourites in the game franchise! Being in a different room after every night and dealing with different enemies is such a good idea and I'm surprised no other game came up with it before hand!

The daytime quest mode is also even more interesting! It takes the room based features of FNaW 3 and a survival aspect and pulls it off really well! It's obviously not perfect, I think the way the custom night is handled is a little too weird. I mean, having to do 5 nights like a normal game is just weird to me and the all out mode can be a lil' annoying. Not to mention some of the weird mechanics of the rooms, like why the hell do I have to look away from Wario in the Living Room, despite the fact that he is looking directly at me either way. But it is near enough to perfection for what it is, being one of my personal favourites in gameplay!

Five Nights at Wario's 4 (Haunted TV time):

Alright. That's how I describe FNaW 4. Don't get me wrong, it's a really good game, but I feel like it falls short of being REALLY good. For one, the tv mechanic is a little too underdeveloped. Why does a remote have an option to fully darken a screen? At that point just turn the TV off. Plus, what TV has a RADIO BUTTON. WHY WOULD A TV NEED A RADIO?!? Not to mention the fact you get a MENU BAR IN THE GAME. Like, it's so confusing! Just have you tap Peach's Rope or do literally anything else besides a menu bar. Heck, Demon Wario can just have the TV turned off or something.

I get it, it's a nightmare so it doesn't have to necessarily make sense, but still, It should feel a lil' bit grounded compared to reality warping factors. Week 2 doesn't really address this, but the Mario thing was fixed up. Overall, it was just kinda meh. Not my favorite.

Five Nights at Wario's: Origins (So Origin):

Gonna make this clear. Origins. Is. PERFECT. It is one of the best games in the franchise simply because it goes for something that barely any games have. Spoopy Spirits. It makes the spirits part of any FNaF game and emphasises that in the 1988 mode. The Player, who might I add is the past version of Wario meaning there is 2 WARIO'S in Origins, can move into different rooms and each mechanic in Origins is unique. Mario follows his FNaW 1 mechanic, Waluigi will attack if you stay in a room for too long, Luigi appears for one night only, Peach appears in a mirror and Wario can move around the building being the only threat who can move!

But that's only covering 1/2 of the game, cause 2.0 brought 2018 mode. EASILY, 2018 mode is Origins PRIME and butter. It's fast paced, the designs are creepy, unique mechanics. EVERYTHING. It is one of, if not the, best game in the franchise if we don't include FSaW.

So why do people beef with it?:

I think the main reason people don't like FNaW is the graphics. People will play the first game, and I mean the first, first, and will just hate the graphics and feel, opting out of playing the rest of the games. It's reasonable, but its devastating to see that a game franchise that is actually quite good is often disregarded for its graphics. It's a genuine shame. But with Deluxe now coming out, people should give the franchise more attention and respect it for what it is.

Atleast, that's what I hope, I dunno if it is gonna be that but a man can dream. But I've been your host, Fruppet Puppet, and I'll catch you, probably in a devlog or somethin'. Chao!

Makin' Bowsers Jumpscare, decided to make a meme real quick. Surprisingly, I've only got 3 more AI's to make for MMT and then the main nights are done. So that's cool.

Talk about a Nintendo Direct huh?

[Goes without saying, but SPOILERS AHEAD!]

What yall thinking of the new buttons for MMT, I've had to change them to actives because (as I found out), if someone doesn't have a specific font on their device, it just shows symbols.

OK. Now the game is available to play. Any bugs, just report them here, etc. etc.

God damn it I wanna make a Potara Fusion of Fruppet and another character, but I dunno who and I am way too lazy rn
