I need help. pls read article for details. the image above is not by me btw.


I've got a game in mind but I'm lacking the engine for it. I can make it myself of using a pre-existing D7 engine but the game I'm planning requires these:

-Proper wall detection

-Lighting in some areas

-Smart AI that detects players within a distance (Should be easy-I think I can do it myself)

-Detailed walls-I mean that each wall for the building will have details. so yes, I will design every costume, every wall but I just need to know how I can make it so that the walls aren't all the same.

-Shadowing(maybe)

-Make the AI not look at you the entire time (So you can go behind the AI

-Make the walls in an organized layout. so basically, I can make the FNAF map.

If anyone can recommend me a tutorial or yt vid that would be great thanks.

This is my draft of ideas and I'll be adding more.

Just finished redoing the menu screen for my newest game. I'm quite fond of the ODST helmet. I also tried implementing the pieces of advice some others gave me, such as the use of no lines and shading, etc. Thanks. Oh and the menu is like a parallax

My latest fanarts here. Their both the same except for the camera effects on the first one. All art done by me. Gosh this took forever but I'm quite proud of the end product. Its all cartoon styled.
