I recently learned about this word ''Self-Insert'' and what it meant, I think this is what I did without realizing it

And it made me think about this 2 characters from TDNaAAT and made me wonder if this would take away from the seriousness of the game...

Self-insert is when the author decides to be in a fictional story or something like that.

And here's the thing: Aran The BlueRabbit's character is my OC, but also the main character of TDNaAAT along with Toto.

Even though this character has things of mine that you could say as self-insert, First is that he has my name 'Aran' and he has my real voice but that would be the only thing he has over my real self.

And Abel/Abel The Ghost This is something I said like a few years ago, but Abel's character was based on my younger brother

I wanted him to be there because I wanted to and my brother liked the idea in the beginning and that he would be one of the important characters in the story, that was when I was 13 or 14 years old I thought it was a good idea, and I had the TERRIBLE IDEA that he was like a Minecraft character, that was so ridiculous that nowadays I am ashamed that I actually made him in Version 1.0 of TDNaAAT, his design was ugly.

In the end I removed him and rewrote the story of this character (soon I will tell you the old TDNaAAT lore) but I didn't want to take him out of the game completely, besides he was something important in the story so he would only be in the lore and not in the gameplay as in V1.0.

I think it's weird that I wanted to put my brother in the game and on top of that in the game he is dead and he was a ghost.... but well at that time I didn't see it weird because the story was fiction (and my ideas were weird).

But now I see it weird the idea even if it is fiction

And I don't know if this looks bad or from a sick person or something like that I hope not, because it wasn't my intention to do it as something sick or something like that but in case it is, well, I think that an explanation I would give is that this Abel the Ghost is not my real brother and is another person who has the same name.

I don't know what you think but I wanted to talk about this because from what I saw the Self-insert is not well seen.
