I spent some time rethinking the Space Outlaw Alice development process based on collected data. Some final adjustments will be made, including a weapon system change that will allow for faster weaponry use and speed up both level and game design.

The first boss fight was rebalanced. The pattern is a little easier and she telegraphs her attacks more.

The attacks are working! This is probably my last post this year, so I wish everyone a happy new year! Thank you for following and supporting me. I will work hard to release SOA in 2019 :)

The ghoul with metal claws is one of my favorites, but it was giving everyone the impression of being unforgiving and almost impossible to dodge. I made it telegraph its attacks more and jump higher.

The first of its two movements! I based it on one of the Incredible Hulk's signature attacks. I'll take a break tomorrow for xmas, but I hope I can finish all attacks before 2019 :) Happy Holidays everyone!

I'm wrapping things up for the launch of a new playable demo and a crowdfunding campaign will come together with it. For now, check my work on the new cutscenes for stage 2!

Today I wrapped up the cutscenes for the new demo. Now I will focus on the last adjustments to the levels!

The stage 1 enemies were rebalanced. The most drastic change was with the Beholder. Now it flies around chasing the player in order to use its eye blast.

With 5 days left, our campaign is unlikely to reach its goal. While I'll still do what I can to finish the game, postponing the release date and making gameplay adjustments will be needed. Some polls might come soon. Thank you for the support!
