i think contemporary needs an v2 of the thing

because ever since i came to the doc, i realized that the doc is getting deleted soon

so this means i'll have to go ahead and plan an v2 for this


but i know it won't canonically have a v2 but we need to @GregModelsStuffig if he can let a v2 be

btw, parts that are made by people will be the same thing with the previous version so anyway
