This was a decision that wasn't exactly easy, but in the end, I'm happy that all of the hard work I've done over the past few months will end up seeing the light of day.
My biggest problem with this one was framerate issues, more specifically on lower-end PCs that could run Phobia flawlessly. I selected four people to give the game a shot to see if they experienced any lag, and all four have told me that the game ran perfectly fine! That being said, Showman's will likely run great for you if you have a good enough PC, but not so much on an older one that could run Phobia pretty well. I do have plans for a small workaround that might help with lower end PCs, and I also plan on further optimizing some things for the sake of keeping it all running better, too.
Thank you @Mr_Malos, @TheresNoSteak , @SillyKat , and @Bisctard for testing out the game! I'm happy the results turned out great, and also, I'm glad to hear you guys really enjoyed what you saw! That's only a sliver of what's to come, and I'm so excited for you guys to see the rest of it.
Also, I just wanna apologize for the swapping between engines and all that. This was something I dealt with a lot back in 2019-2020, so it's pretty normal in a way. Game development is often messy and requires a lot of time and patience, and me not having the best self-esteem and all that does not help at all lol. I'm really trying my best without pushing myself too hard, and I'd say I'm doing a pretty good job.
Anyways, Showman's: The Awakening will continue development in Blender's game engine! This means less of a wait, but of course, I still have no idea when it'll be finished!
Thank you for your support and patience!
