I've found a tutorial series by Brackey on making my first Unity game (in 3d, though). I haven't learned much yet besides attaching scripts to objects, but I'm getting somewhere now.

Say hello to the new Project Par logo! I decided to make this in about 15 minutes, so it's a little rough, but it fits much better with the vector graphics!

A proper logo has been created!

also the player has health now but that's not important

New hole sprite!

Firstly, the version with the inside of the hole, then without it (because in order for Kirby to fall into the hole correctly, the inside has to follow the cup on a separate layer):

slight progress; enemies, damaging them and enemy health
