So to begin, let's talk about the mod. It's not that big of a deal compared to other amazing mods out in the community, but I think it's sure to be enjoyable to some extent. The mod is called "Tense Blade (Craftician Kris)" and it essentially makes Kris a normal party member for the price of severe discomfort in their hands! A.k.a it lets them use Magic. The mod adds the Tense Blade weapon to the game. Which replaces the previously unused Trefoil. It can be found on both chapter 1 and 2 in a chest. It replaces the item from said chest, but It's an item of which you can get again in the same chapter.
In chapter 1 you get it from the revivemint chest in scarlet forest. (The one near the broken key b.) I've placed it there for the reason of wanting to make it so that you get to use the spookysword for a while before ditching it for the tense blade.
In chapter 2 you get it from the glowwrist chest in the tasque room (the same chest that has a blue check mark.) I've placed it there so that you can get it pretty early on and use Kris' spells while having Susie and Ralsei before switching up to Noelle.
In Chapter 1, you normally get just 3 spells for the majority of the chapter. (Hype Up, Elec Balm and Line Beam.) But you unlock your other spells after the King fight. (Or in the King fight itself if you decide to unlock Courage.) you have the other spells in chapter 2 from the start, but you also gain the Style System (which basically allows you to switch spells and stats.) and also a few new spells for the other party members (and yes there's new spells for Susie, Ralsei, and Noelle.)
In Chapter 2, once Susie and Ralsei learn to ACT, Kris gains the ability to use the same system to ACT, as opposed to ACTing through through the ACT spell. (It basically works the same, but without taking one spell slot. Also yes you can use Magic and ACT at the same time with Kris at all times. I feel like it would be just wrong if I had to take away ACTing for Magic.)
Kris has a variety of different spells, both supportive and defensive. From attacking multiple enemies at once, to making an enemy tired, to healing everyone for a small amount of health only for susie to go beserk and only attack for the rest of a fight like chapter 1, to even having a spell that does the same thing as pirouette, only without making the enemy tired, and also being actually completly random.
Susie gains like one new spell since it's kind of difficult to make spells that would suit her. I gave her Red Buster after the King fight (or in if you unlock the Red Buster act.) it is normally unusable as it costs 120% of TP. (Made it like that because normally Susie is unable to use Red Buster without help) But you can use it for 60% of TP if you have the Devilsknife equipped on her. And the new spell she gets isn't really new. It's just normally unused, but tweaked in order to be viable. I named it Guard Buster, since it's original name from what we know is "Tiny Susie". It's the unused guard act from earlier stages of the Spamton NEO fight. I just added a way for it to get damaged most normal attacks so that it's not invincible, as well as made it's projectiles home in on most normal bullets so that it does it's job of destroying bullets way better than normal. (Though sometimes if the bullet it's homing onto is destroyed by something before it gets to it, the game doesn't know where to send the projectile and crashes™.) it costs like 35% of TP, but costs 25% instead with the Devilsknife.
Ralsei also gets a few new spells. I gave him Dual Heal the same way as Red Buster, no TP cost shinnenigans involved this time. As well as a spell that warns one enemy of choice about Susie. It's basically made as a counter to Hype Up making Susie Beserk. It costs 16% of TP. In chapter 2 he gains two new spells after Sweet Cap'n Cakes. FluffyGuard, which is just FluffyGuard from the Spamton NEO boss fight, but it costs 25% of TP in order to make it so that you don't just spam it against enemies. As well as Shadow Sip, a spell that both attacks an enemy and heals an ally at the same time. (Healed ally depends on position of both allies and enemies.)
And Noelle gains two new spells. Bubble Guard, the scrapped and unused version of FluffyGuard, though it was tweaked to actually be viable. It costs 25% of TP. And she also gains Light Rain. Which is basically the Dual Heal version of Shadow Sip. (Attacks every enemy, and Heals every Ally.)
I've also made a few tweaks for other things, like making the Manual readable in chapter 1, and chapter 2 (in case you hack it in.), as well as making a few spells usable out of battle, and also adding new Titles and stats for Kris.
It's currently downloadable only on Game Banana, but I do wanna put it on game jolt too. (It'll just get a bit more difficult to manage...) here's the link https://gamebanana.com/mods/504833
But now about that Proposal, do you want to learn how to modify Deltarune? Like make modifcations on specific parts of the code, either for other people to enjoy or for yourself and your friends? If you do then you probably know that there's not that many tutorials for it in the Internet. Especially for using the most well known mod tool for it, the Undertale Mod Tool. Well, I can probably teach how to use it. I myself am still learning it too, but I at least can teach you a few basics of it. Like making spells, weapons, text, editing code, objects, putting new sprites, and other various little things. Again, I only know the basics, so I might not be the best person around to teach, but If you do want me to, I'll try my best. But of course, I am trying to do something out of my life, and doing this for free, might not be one of them. I do understand that this is information I'm giving. So prices will surely be affordable. But as I am just a Teen, I do not know if charging prices for Tutorials is a good thing or not. If the case is that this isn't a good thing and I'm accidentally being either a jerk or a criminal, then I'll think about it and decide what to do next, but as far as I know, the only thing I'm selling is information, not a program, nor a game.
So I wanna know if anyone would be willing to pay for these tutorials.
