And it was the best thing I've seen in my entire 14 years long life! Shadow is just a perfect character for a movie, and I just can not describe my feelings. Live and learn hits hard. And when Paramount Pictures showed us Metal Sonic... I was about to scream in joy. I WAS FREAKING WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT!!! METAL JUST HAD TO APPEAR IN THE CINEMATIC UNIVERSE OF STH! EVEN IF IT WAS AN EASTER EGG OR A REFERRENCE, ID APPRECIATE IT! METAL IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS, AND I WAS SO FUCKING HAPPY WHEN I SAW HIM AFTER THE CREDITS!!! And of course, our ultimate lifeform just had to survive the explosion. No. Shadow can't die. Even canonically. He came back in Heroes, so he'll probably come back in the fourth movie. I'm not saying that it's bad, it's only good. I'm glad that they didn't kill Shadow right in the same movie he first appeared at.

My theories:

The next movie will be focused on METAL SONIC, and we even might see Metal overlord, but it'd require the chaos emeralds usage. If the movie requires time travel, there has to be Silver. And if the the hedgehog trio would fight overlord, then it'd be okay to use chaos emeralds. And the movie HAS TO HAVE STARDUST SPEEDWAY IN IT! NO MATTER WHAT TIME, IT MUST BE HERE!
