I would like to point out the few but big similarities between the king and wolfman zapp.
Maybe a few king bots‘s head were reused and modified to make zapp.

The speed up chip was a chip that could be put into Pac-Man arcade machines to make Pac-Man 4 times faster. After Midway saw a lot of bootleg Pac-Man chips they made their own official one.
