1. Create splash potions of oozing. You need water bottles, 1 nether wart, 1 slime block and 1 gunpowder. it HAS to be a throwable potion, so splash or lingering is fine. You can also try to do tipped arrows if you want.

2. When using potions, Throw ONE potion at a CLUSTER of mobs. Not one, not two, but a bunch of mobs in one area. When using a bow, simply shoot any mobs you want. I recommend the Infinity enchant if you have it.

3. Kill the mobs while the effect is ongoing. Oozing makes them spawn 2 medium slimes, and these 2 altogether yield around ~8 slimeballs per medium slime with Looting 3. (Each lil slime rewards 0-5 slimeballs with Looting 3.)

Edit: Infinity does NOT work on tipped arrows. Use lingering OR splash potions instead. Not regular, nor tipped arrow.
