IG’s March of Robots, Day 21: Climb
Nicknamed “Arachnotrons”, these were designed to test the limits of the robot matrices locomotive abilities.
The Arachnotrons are so adept at climbing that they could scale the highest mountains 100% of the time.
The nickname is a reference to a game I enjoyed the lore of in my childhood. Can you guess which one?

Statement: If HK-47 isn’t your favourite robotic character, assassination protocols will have to be activated.
Couldn’t resist that, but HK-47 was such a fun idea and I love the character.
A little WIP for Wednesday and a new piece of 1-bit pixel art.
Don’t ask me why I chose Phantump as the subject for this piece, but I like the evolutionary line so that’s reason enough.
The coolest armour- the Metroid Suit for Samus from Metroid Dread. How can I say otherwise given my adoration of the Metroid series!
The thing I’m most looking forward to about the release of Silksong is the plethora of excellent fan art pieces I know we are going to get.
(Thought I’d repost the one I made 2 years ago as well )

All done!
Just an eepy little guy.
I changed the WIP so that Phantump curled up its tail and fell asleep as, once I thought of it, I had to make it this way.
I just noticed this, but many thanks to everyone that decided to follow me and my pixel art- we’ve reached 700 followers now!
I’ll try and make some pixel art as a thank you in the next few days, but you’re all awesome and thanks again.
As it happened around the release date, I decided to make the Hornet from Hollow Knight/Silksong the subject of my 700 followers thank you piece.
A big thank you to all my followers and I appreciate you all more than I can express.
This took me longer than I’d have liked this month, but I got there in the end.
Here’s the timelapse of yesterday’s Phantump piece.
If you have any comments/questions about the timelapse or my process, please feel free to ask.
