IG’s March of Robots, Day 21: Climb
Nicknamed “Arachnotrons”, these were designed to test the limits of the robot matrices locomotive abilities.
The Arachnotrons are so adept at climbing that they could scale the highest mountains 100% of the time.
The nickname is a reference to a game I enjoyed the lore of in my childhood. Can you guess which one?
This took me longer than I’d have liked this month, but I got there in the end.

How could I now answer Resident Evil for this question?!
(Admittedly, Half-Life and Project Zomboid are close though. )
I’ve had some serious art block recently, so I thought I’d try something small to get past it. 1-bit Halloween sprites seemed fitting.
Which is your favourite?
#Zombie
Couple of new shinies today. Zorua is my favourite of the pair.
I meant to share the timelapse for this last week, but time has gotten the better of me again!
Thank you all again for 700 follows.
My favourite game genre is a toss up between Real Time Strategy (hence the Mammoth Mk.II walker I posted ) or RPG’s. I can’t really decide between those two, I’m afraid.
I had some suggestions for more 16x16 1-bit sprite practice, so here they are.
I’m not sure how interesting it will be, but here’s a timelapse of me making the sprites I posted yesterday.
Here’s the timelapse for the last post. As you’ll see, I did try and redo the gorilla sprite but I preferred the original one more.
Reposting some old art and trying to help everyone complete the Joltober quest, for the #spider tag at least.
