[Chapter 1] Life of a cyborg

It was a quiet night in the forest..Luigi was searching for his brother Mario for days maybe weeks.. even.. As determined he is he would not give up where he is…saved him from a haunted mansion maybe once or twice…he can save him again. Or so he thought…little did Luigi knew this day was his downfall.

Luigi: “Mario…please be okay…” *in a worried tone talking to himself*

Luigi stopped walking as he finds a…house?…In the forest?.. At first he was skeptical but then thinks Mario is inside.. He enters the house but its too dark..

Luigi: “Mama mia…its too dark..I should’ve brought a candle or any light with me… *sigh* oh well…..cant think of that right now…he needs me..” *in a worried yet determined voice*

He continues forward as he caught a glimpse of his brother in the distance as he shout his name and then an unknown figure knocks Luigi out cold.

[A couple hours later]

Luigi wakes up strapped to a…metal table?…He looks around but nobody was there..he even called for help. But nobody came?.. Until the door opened.

Luigi: “W-Who’s there…? S-Somebody…help me…I just wanna find Mario…” *In a trembling voice scared of his surroundings*

“???”[unknown figure]: “Hello Luigi…” *the voice said calmly looking at Luigi in the darkness*

Luigi: “W-Who are you! Where’s my brother?!” *he demanded still in a horrified state*

“???”: “Oh don't worry he’s perfectly fine…but as for you…I wanna do some…’test’ *said in a skeptical voice and sounded murderous to Luigi*

Luigi: “T-Test?…I’M NO LAB RAT! RELEASE ME!!” *As he struggles the rope and metal bars were too strong for Luigi to get out of*

Luigi: *uff* *uff* “Please…sir…whoever you are…let me go…my bro been missing for weeks…I just want him safe…” *gasping for air from struggling he looks desperate and sad*

“???”: “How about a deal…corporate with me…I’ll let you and Mario go..try and escape there’ll be CONSEQUENCES…am I clear?..” *he demanded but also shows odd kindness*

Luigi: “F…For my brother’s safety…I…I don’t have a choice do I?…” *He asked in desperation*

“???”: “No..you don’t…” *calmly replied*

Luigi: *he looks back and forth then back at the figure* “Okay…I’ll do it…for him…” *He desperately agreed to the offer*

[Hours passed]

Luigi wakes up again but this time…he feels different..he looks why he feels off…then he feels something on his face…metal…he screamed in horror.

Luigi: “MAMA MIAAAA!! WHAT DID YOU DO TO MEE?!” *He screamed in horror and fear*

“???”: “Like I said…a ‘test’…*oddly calm response*

Luigi: “TEST?! MY EYE IS LIKE— *he froze for a moment before he could scream again* a…a…a cyborg….?” *he questioned as he looked at his body*

“???”: “indeed…I did this so you wouldn’t be HIS shadow anymore…heh…still a coward as usual..” *mocking Luigi in a weird sinister voice*

Luigi snapped causing him to lunge at the figure and attack him with all his might. Blinded by rage before he did the finishing blow a tap on his shoulder made him…stop? He looks behind him and it was none other than Mario but he looks…a little different..Luigi couldn’t care though he immediately pulled Mario into a hug with tears rolling down his face..

Luigi: “Mario…b-brother…I….I’m s-so glad your okay…”

Mario..?: *dazed but also hugged Luigi smiling* “I’m alright bro…you don't have to be worried.. *strangely calm and a voice of courage seems to ease Luigi a little*

Luigi: “But…bro…you were gone for almost 2 weeks…I had my rights to be worried…your my brother…” *In a worried voice*

Mario..?: “A-Ah…sorry…I sorta got lost…hehe…” *his voice is still the same as usual confident, encouraging, bravery…Luigi is calm he knew Mario too well*

Luigi: *He looks at the body but it’s gone* “Wh- hey! Where’d he—“ *interrupted by Mario*

Mario..?: “Let’s not worry about him..lets focus on finding a way outta here…” *said in a calming tone*

Luigi: “R…Right…l-let’s-a-go…” *scared but encouraged by his brother*

Mario..?: “That’s my bro..! Let’s-a-go!” *confident and brave*

[As the 2 brothers leave the [𝐓𝐞𝐒𝐭𝐈𝐧𝐆 𝐫𝐎𝐨𝐌] they went to find a way outta this place..little that they know they’re being watched…]
