im starting to hate my games, they are little side projects I made on a whim that fit well as a desert with my bigger projects... the problem is when I look at my games, I dont see any bigger projects. Just mediocrity on top of mediocrity (old post)

Dont worry im not gonna delete or unlist anything but I can totally see why some people have gripes with my current game design, usually people call it generic or boring but you wanna know what I think it's best described as? repetitive.

Sure they're funny, have nice twists and can definitely be enjoyed for what they are but that's really it.

They're simple games with tired tropes & when looked back to back, have repetitive recurring mechanics.

Sometimes I think even a simple recode of an old fnaf fangame could beat some of them, which is saying a lot.

I want to be a better dev, make something that will be an actual gem of a fangame for once when revisited (flaws and all).

Even if it is as simple as a recode, I want it to deliver as much as it can so that it can be atleast somewhat memorable & fun.

So now with those news out the way, I want to announce there have been a little change of plans:

Aside from two projects, everything I was planning to make has currently either been put on hiatus or cancelled, so I can focus on a fresh restart with a new game.

Whether that game be original, recode or fangame, I will try to make it as good as I can with lots of feedback.

Just to be clear I don't suddenly hate my old fangames (im starting to is what I said), I still love them & had so much fun making them but looking back at them all lined up, it's clear to see that they all suffer from being repetitive in various ways.

Anyways that's enough news for now, if you have any questions feel free to ask.

(Update: I have completely changed my mind on my old games, I like them and dont hate them anymore. I will keep this post up for archive.)
