Hello everynyan, Sugar here.
You might've noticed the long wait between updates, even just teasers.
This is due to a HUGE lack of motivation, this is due to the Clickteam build sucking AAAAAASSSSSS. This makes it hard to even add stuff.
So, I give three options:
I keep working on the Clickteam build and polish it. This'll delay release even more, even though it's "almost" complete content-wise. This would ensure it's not as buggy though, and mostly having what I envision Nuclear Custom Night to be (though not all).
I finish the Clickteam build content-wise, then start work on the Godot 2.0 build some time after. This would mean 1.0 would release sooner, but may be missing polish. There might be some bugs (which I would albeit fix with hotfixes) and lack of polish on some parts, and may also be missing some non-essential features (eg. Character unlocking [they'd be unlocked by default] or some achievements). However, as I said, this would mean a quicker release and a shift to the Godot build would be slightly quicker, and bugfix updates may happen from time to time.
Release the Clickteam build as-is, as soon as possible. This would mean it'd release with (maybe) bugs, missing some features (eg. A few of the helper characters, mostly that tbh...) but my focus would shift basically right after to the Godot build. Bug fixing updates may still happen albeit perhaps a bit less frequently.
Please vote on what you want to see! I want the best for NCN and what my vision for it is, but the way I built it on Clickteam (I was still very much a beginner when I started it) makes it extremely infuriating to continue development on it. But, it's also (mostly) done. So vote what you personally think is best!
