Important updates made to Fangame The Game!

Before you get too excited, this isn’t a promise to finish the game entirely. However, there are a few things that I felt really needed to be updated and tweaked to at least make the game in its current stage more accessible and enjoyable.

Firstly, I’ve updated the tutorial. I’ve changed the voiceover, allowed progression through the sections without having to wait for the voiceover to finish, and I’ve added a section covering the basics of “vine/wall jumping”, which is a very important skill to have in this game.

I’ve added a small note on the title screen showing the key bindings and how to change them.

On the difficulty selection screen I’ve added little subtexts for each difficulty to help explain the differences between each.

There’s a puzzle late in the game that I’ve been wanting to simplify somehow and I think I’ve found a way to do that… but will you even get that far? XD

Let me know if you have any questions.

While FTG is meant to be brutal, there's an early-game wall jumping segment that I think was a bit much for new players, so I've made it a more approachable as of v0.110.3. You're welcome!

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

"Thanks guys for endless hours of fun." 👍

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
