In 1997, a fan game based on the original 1991 Sonic the Hedgehog began production, the developers would often release Demos, however, the game was never finished (Read Article)


The project started in the Summer of '97, and was cancelled sometime in October or December of that year, the Files and whatnot were contained in a CD Disk that was compatible with the Sega Saturn Console

But there was a reason, a reason no one knows
an entity was born had taken Game as its own, killing all the Developers

Though one day, it didn't kill, it TOOK, it captured a Soul and put it in a Vessel of one of the Characters from the Game

from that day onward, X (as it called itself) would begin taking Souls and put them in Vessels of the Characters.
