Jonathan is not a very expressive person. Since he is the son of Queen Gertrude, the leader of the metal magicians, then he received an education corresponding to royal standards. He was raised in strictness, in reverence for traditions. Therefore, by the time of the war with monsters, he was already prepared for the role of a dungeon guardian. He was ten at the time. After being imprisoned underground, he was settled in Hotland, along with Chara. He finds her annoying, as he often has to help her out of scrapes. Nevertheless, he feels sympathy for her.
