So, you are still here? Then, let me introduce the subject if you were not reading my posts 1-2 years ago...

I planned to make a TF2 spin-off called "Gamejolt Fortress 2". At this time, I had no (and still today) experiences with multiplayer games (host, peers, connecting a game to a server, etc).

To boost it, I decided to buy with my own money a Construct 3 template about making an online tank battle game. Yes, I made it run properly with the lobby, join/create room, tanks were battling from different browser windows, etc.

A few weeks later, Scirra (the founder of Construct 3, C3 in short) did a major update of their multiplayer plugin.

So, not only was my template outdated, but they changed ALL the procedures to connect the players to the same area, including a new server for multiplayer games. So, I was f***ed up.

Btw, I STILL PLAN to make "Gamejolt Fortress 2", but not yet, too many projects to deal with before.

Back to the present...

Making "SomebodyStoleMyToast vs IStoleYourT0ast: The final duel" multiplayer feature will be WAY LONG. Indeed,

I need to update myself with the new procedures with the C3 multiplayer plugin.

I want the game to be smooth AF without network memory leaks (which would dramatically affect the user experience).

I need to make the base game first, before the multiplayer thing since everything is at my own expense (GJ money is not making hundreds of dollars yet).

When I will have more time, more budget and more fanbase, I will consider focusing on the online multiplayer feature after the release of this game.
