Infected Animals And How To Survive Them

This article contains a little bit of spoiler for the first 5-10 minutes of the game, if you want to avoid it, stop reading here :)

The infected animals show strange behavior. They are more aggressive than they normally are. They also are very afraid of Fire.

On the screenshot, you can see one of them. When you look uphill you see some kind of path made of standing torches. This can be a secure way for the player, if he is careful and moves at the right moment.

As you can see, some torches are lit and some not, the player is able to light them up, by using a torch in his hand.

The Tiger AI is also aware of the fire from the torch and not able to go near it, which makes it a safe place for the player.

I am planning to show you how the game-play there works in a video later on.

Note that many elements are still work in progress, like the skin of the tiger, it will look slimy and unhealthy later on. Also the objects with plain white surface are only placeholders and will be replaced by fitting models.
