Rocket Potato is my 2nd solo project after Monster Face. As I’ve been programming tactics RPGs and turn-based combat games for a few years but am new to other genres as well as creating art assets, my first few games are all about improving my skills while producing something fun at the same time. Rocket Potato started as a way to play around with a mechanic I envisioned for a game I will make once I feel I have trained enough to do it justice, called “Phwirt: Heat Rises”, and evolved from there.
Before doing any coding, I wrote a detailed design doc and technical document to blueprint the game and am keeping an updated project documentation file. When Rocket Potato is done, I will be making all of them public, because when I was getting started I wished I had had some examples to look at.
I am keeping a development blog on IndieDB, and will do smaller updates here.

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳
I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?
Heya! I wanted to show some gameplay progress i made so far. I hope you like it ^^
Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
My D&D art for my family so far (WIP if you couldn't tell)

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)

We're knee deep in multiple large features and "game feel". Quick peek behind the scenes in this weeks Dev Blog: https://bit.ly/2QmmaQM
Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
