How are we doing everyone? So far this Winter Storm doesn't look bad, all it looks like is that it did snow outside. One might say it snew.
...
Okay, let's just get to the point.
Better Updates
I'm sure you noticed already... but I'm starting to give better updates. Images, art, all that sorta stuff. I'm also improving my format, taking inspiration from Toby's UTDR newsletters. Mine would just be shorter and all that, and I won't have as MANY pictures (sad but true).
Kind of off topic, but I also revamped the page! I went into more detail, but not enough (so I can elaborate here Teehee)
Returning Cast
Unfortunatly I am not ready to start sharing new members of the cast yet, however I am definetly ready to share returning members...
Undyne (obviously she's the main antagonist)
Alphys. I took the approach she still lives here, but has changed.
Sans. He's grown more distant since his brother was killed, but he's still here.
Gerson. I don't know if he will have a major role, but he's still here. Gyah Hah Hah!
Napstablook. Here's here. I guess.
The rest, such as Toriel, Papyrus, Mettaton, Asgore (of course) and Flowey are all dead. Well in terms of major characters at least.

A new enemy???
Okay that was a lot of reading (unless you skipped it). Sorry for that.
Good news, I kept my promise from week 1. I told you I would show a new enemy that WILL be present in the demo.
Bad news...? It's not fully original.

Introducing Squashy! A pumpkin monster with Vampire teeth. It primarily uses pumpkin attacks.
Before anyone asks, no the original inspiration was NOT Jackenstein, but rather the original Vegetoid, which was also called Squashy at the time.

I took that, made it into a proper enemy, and then added my own twist... but then I thought of Jackenstein... and so this is it's other attack/hit frame:

I cannot look at this thing without cracking up. It's perfect. Chef's kiss.
Next week, I plan on sharing some very important Lore (that also helps balance the game)
Conclusion
That's pretty much it for all. I also made a song that samples the "Bell" from "For whom the Bell Tolls" and it's pretty neat.
- MrMonkeyToes, signing off.
* Alone Again, huh?
* I suppose we could get used to this.
* Every week, meet me here, okay?
* I feel like you're different
