It's probably that the pun meaning of the "Roblox" name stands for:

"Ro." could be a prefix of "robotic", related to the computerized.

"Blox" could stand for "blocks", with 'cks' and 'x' being similar.

The same goes for the "robux" term, being "bux" referencing "bucks".
