its official im disowning my brother he had no idea who he was


even though I've been gradually making my interest with tff more obvious recently AND he literally caught me listening to shout the other day after him and my dad came home

like it gets obvious when I like a band or a song because I'll randomly comment about something related or just start infodumping for no reason

the other day Head Over Heels played on the way home from work and when Roland said the last line where he's like 'funny how time flies...' i said "YEAH you're OLD"

I normally never do stuff like this unless I'm interested in whatever the thing in question is

and my brother didn't even know they were from the UK until I had mentioned it in a joke conversation with my dad like a month or two ago. what,,

but like I literally said to him (my brother) HOW MANY TIMES have you seen the cover for their album Songs from The Big Chair? A LOT!! MANY!! SO MANY TIMES. YOURE TELLING ME THAT YOU DIDNT RECOGNIZE ROLAND WHOM YOUVE SEEN PROBABLY MORE TIMES THAN THE WORLD CAN NUMBER

I unfortunately have a belief that if i show him just like, a random and unlabeled picture of daryl hall & john oates he will not know that its hall & oates. like why is he always like this 💔
