insane how before we even had any other gen 8 pokemon revealed besides the starters, this guy just showed up and dumped EVERYTHING about sword and shield lmao

they seriously toned down the design after this but i think it gets the point across (why the fuck did they think it was okay to go with a trypophobia theme)

also maybe its because they ran on a similar/ same engine, there's data and stuff for it in the Gen 7 games (and we had a leaked sprite of it for pokemon home a while back mysteriously) first image is its only official appearance.
