JAMMM - 2.2.1 Update


I mentioned on Twitter that major modding developments recently hit the DD community, and the results were this update!


Changelog:

General

  • Added additional soul collection waves to the following maps (only works for the host) [from and thanks to @BonbonFazbear87 ]:

    • Crazy Carnevil

    • Akademi Assault

    • Poppy Panic

    • Ancient Ashes

Characters

  • Reimplemented Murder Monkey's third-person attack animations (only works for the host) [from and thanks to @BonbonFazbear87 ]

  • Replaced Lucky's and Penny's menu idle animations with their in-game ones

  • Made the glasses on Default Info-chan shining white

  • Removed the glowing spots on Salim's torso

  • Alerted the colors and textures on Ice King CoryXKenshin

  • Edited some character names

    • "Brute" to "The Brute"

    • "Fiend" to "The Fiend"

    • "Ayano" to "Ayano Aishi"

    • "Bierce" to "Helen Bierce"

    • "PenPen" to "Pen Pen"

    • "8-Bit Ryan" to "8-BitRyan"

    • "Hanako" to "Hanako Yamada"

    • "Info Chan" to "Info-chan"

    • "Senpai" to "Taro 'Senpai' Yamada"

    • "Jason" to "Jason Kolchek"

    • "Salim" to "Salim Othman"

  • Edited most ultimate descriptions to be concise and contain more clarity

  • Modified character skin names

    • Official Skins (to be shortened):

      • "Soldier Monkey" (Murder Monkey) to "Soldier"

      • "Bone Ducky" (Dread Ducky) to "Bone"

      • "Nightmare Mode" (Murder Monkey, Agatha, Gold Watcher, Dread Ducky, & Clown Gremlin) to "Nightmare"

    • Modded Skins (to reflect modded content):

      • "Halloween Green" (Reaper Nurse) to "Toxic"

      • "Halloween Orange" (Reaper Nurse) to "Halloween"

      • "Dark Seifuku" (Ayano) to "1980s"

      • "Feeling Blue" (Kissy Missy) to "Marshmallow"

      • "Miss Lavender" (Kissy Missy) to "Voxel"

      • "Lover Boy" (Senpai) to "1980s"

      • "Sakura Seifuku" (Hanako) to "Nemesis"

Monkey Business

  • Gave the Chef Monkeys their particles back

Deadly Decadence

  • Gave Boss Time a unique music track (scrapped Zone 2 Panic Track) from Trap Time [from and thanks to @BonbonFazbear87 ]

Stranger Sewers

  • Made the physical map texture more hidden

Poppy Panic

  • Renamed the stage to be "Playtime Peril" [name by @Argo4 ] and changed the level font


Monsters & Mortals lost UAssetGUI (in short, a program used to edit text strings and game values) support when the game was updated to Unreal Engine 5. Over a year later it's back, and with the game back on peer-to-peer, modding for this game is better than ever! In this update I tried to bring back a lot of the major stuff that was scrapped from JAMMM due to UE5, but I know I missed some things. Expect them in a future update!

So, I managed to gather materials to enhance the visibility of the spike trap. This way, the manor can remain dark, and you won't have to struggle with the traps being too dark and hard to see!
