So here we are. 2024. This August, FNaF will be 10 years old. Crazy to think about lol. So here's a few cool updates.
Update 1: Final roster changes.
Those who've been around long enough know that I've made tons of changes to the roster, primarily making room for characters in newer games.
There are currently 7 empty slots for potential HW2 DLC or if we get another game (not the roblox one) before the 10th anniversary.
If neither happens, those slots will be gifted to 5 characters from the movie that I have on a waitlist. If the movie characters never get in, then they'll simply be left for DLC.
Six new characters have been added to represent HW2; Mystic Hippo, Carnie, Jack-O-Moon, Head Chef Bot, VR Endo and "Tilt".
As well as those additions, I've made changes to the unlockable group; removing Shopkeeper Lolbit from FiS2 and the VR Sisters from Fury's Rage. They were removed mainly because I cannot find/get models of them. As a replacement, we have one empty slot, and the addition of Glamrock Bonnet, who is the only character from Freddy in Space 3 I felt was worthy of addition (partially cause I have a model for her, and partially cause most of that game's "characters" are just unfunny jokes that I don't want to humor).

Update 2: Mechanic changes.
Not many mechanical changes are coming, however I do have one big one, being one I asked about a while ago.
The Glamrocks have TONS of variants. But, none of them really act in any drastically different ways from the others (except Monty I guess, but I'm not giving exclusively him special treatment). So I asked what I should do about this and was given an excellent suggestion by @Leftory .
In each mode, the Glamrock's appearances and jumpscares will update to match their difficulty; starting as their normal variants, transitioning into their Shattered ones on Rampaging Mode, and finally being their Ruined forms in Hard Mode.
Freddy and Daycare Attendant also follow this trend, however they do it a bit differently. Freddy's appearance in the office will always remain the same, and only his jumpscare will be updated (that way you don't have the question of how Ruined Freddy works with the mechanic). Also because we never got ahold of Shattered Freddy's model, Freddy's icon is just how he looks after 3am.
Meanwhile Daycare Attendant will only update in Hard Mode, with the Ruined forms of Sun and Moon taking their respective places. Eclipse won't be a part of the mechanic at all, and is simply here as the icon. This is mainly cause he isn't an aggressive character, so it wouldn't make sense for him to be part of the gameplay.
This gimmick of character's assets updating when they're in Hard Mode is not exclusive to these guys btw! These are just the only characters in the game who have Rampaging Mode icons.
Update 3: Assets.
As I continue my quest for models, I'm steadily updating icons as soon as I can. Once all the icons are done, that's basically my way of telling you that I've gotten everything I need. I plan to hopefully finish that off this year, and complete the Pizzeria map so I can start on rendering the different assets for the game.
Coding is not something I really foresee happening soon, but if I can keep up the pace I've been at these past few months, then it is a possibility.
Overall I'm excited to finally get some significant progress done this year, and I hope I can get to a point where this game coming out before FNaF's 70 years old is a possibility lmao.
