Summary
This is going to be a quick devlog. Since a year ago, I have been working on my own project called "Experiment No. 121". Throughout that time, my focus had gradually shifted from JAPARITALE towards this game of my own.
JAPARITALE was in this never-ending loop of development hell anyway, I was such an amateur in handling things the right way, I had many different ideas regarding things like storytelling, battle encounters and etc.
Also, you can now play the v2.9.9 version if you wish to see the changes I've made. You shouldn't be expecting any major differences, though. Most of those are small QoL updates and some bug fixes that were leftover from previous versions. Unfortunately there are some new bugs I couldn't really bother to fix; you'll have to use debug commands to get around these. (press F1 to open up the debug console)
The source code too exists in this version, so if you wish to use my code into your fan-games or something, go ahead. I should say that sprites and music are not allowed for any sort of usage without explicit permission from the team member who created that respective asset. I don't like it when my projects become lost media, so I prefer game preservation.
Now you know why I had to take this decision. But who knows? Maybe something will happen and I'll decide to remake the game from scratch. Unfortunately though the chance of it happening is pretty low.
A New Game!?
The good news (if you even consider this as good news) is that the game framework of Experiment No. 121 is almost complete. The only things left are the saving & loading and the battle system. As for the DEMO's release date, I'd give it at least around two or three months.
Here are some screenshots of my new game:

Wasn't it 3D before? What happened to it?
I expect this question to be asked. The game was originally going to be in 3D but this'd have made things much harder and 3D modelling even the simplest props for days is a lot time-consuming. I was afraid the game would not be finished if I kept going like this. So I had to acknowledge that making it in 2D is the only way.
And that's everything. I'm sorry for everything but I hope you understand.
