Java Edition 1.20.6 is the first 1.x.6 version since 1.8.6, which was released nearly nine years earlier in 2015.

For anyone interested what's new in 1.20.6-rc1, it fixes a critical bug.


Minecraft 1.20.6 is scheduled to be released early next week if all goes well.
