Jet came from an old tree that was covered in tar. The tar burned and fossilized the tree to become Jet. Jet popped out of the tree as Steven walked by. Steven stopped and stared at the new Gem. At first, she was a little skeptical. Then, she let loose and became calm. Normally Jet gems were used as spies and camouflaged in with the dark. But since this one didn't grow on a Homeworld farm, she wasn't quite sure what to do. Now, she mostly sits on her phone watching videos or hangs out with Garnet.
