They worked for royalty until they were set to be isolated thanks to said royalty (Jevil being forced to be locked up by Seam by the four kings and Pink Diamond abandoning her on their garden for thousands of years).
Uh idfk if there's any connections besides that but these connections (at least the first sentence) seems pretty decent imo
