especially the fact that I live in a third-world country where its economy is hellish, might just doom the very game that I've been WANTING to make for years. At this point, OHH (One Hundred Hands, a Outlast Trials inspired game set in the universe of a rebooted DREADWALKER, for you newbies) can be considered as a "cancel or be doomed" game. None of the developers respond to my DMs regarding progress, especially after the main modeler left. I am having more success with my upcoming non-Roblox game, which is satisfying.
I don't really have much of a choice here. "Move your game to Unreal or s&box as you once thought of!" There are no people at the moment to justify this. I have gone through AGONIZING hours trying to get people for this. One was MAYBE willing to help, but they simply got mad at me and I felt like they were forced, to the point they got mad at me for a simple "hey, this is the artstyle we're going for in the game, let me know your thoughts"
NOBODY. WANTS. TO. GO. THROUGH. THIS. I believe Roblox was always advertised as a "hey, you want your game idea out there but don't have the money to put it on Steam? I have the exact solution for you!" engine. Developers simply didn't replace the blocky characters or go for an artstyle.
This, my friends, is NOT it.
