Ralph, of the game Bits & Bites has the most interesting job in the whole west. He is the runt of his family of Wildebits, a buffalo like creature who wears hats. His job is to protect the rest of the pack as they run for their lives. Wild dogs are chasing the pack away from its home and the runt of the pack is a bit farther behind, there for, Ralph must use his “special gastrointestinal bioweapons”, meaning poop, to protect the herd. This western endless runner combines playful graphics and crude humor in this fun-to-play casual game. Wildebits, the indie company that has created this humorous game, has released an exclusive version of its game on GameJolt for a limited amount of time. This version of the game also uses a GameJolt API to add a leaderboard to the game.

In the game, the player controls the character Ralph, the runt of the pack. Ralph has the special ability to fire poop out of his butt at the wild dogs that are chasing the pack. Wild dogs come after Ralph from the left of the screen, while he has to dodge rocks, cactuses, and dung beetles coming from the right side of the screen. After three shots of poop hit one dog, the wild dog dies off. Dogs can also die if they happen to hit any of the objects that Ralph himself must avoid. If a dog runs into Ralph or any of his family, the game is ended. The game will also end if Ralph runs into one of the objects coming from the right of the screen. There are also coins and even treasure chests to collect along the way to add to the player’s score. The farther the player makes it, the higher the score becomes.

Bits & Bites is planning on releasing the full game on mobile devices, complete with different hats that Ralph can collect and wear in game. There is the possibility of also adding upgradable weapons (so maybe SUPER poop?) into the game, though whether or not that is going to officially happen is up in the air. This game is always going to be free!
