Hey kids, welcome to the first Jupitr Entertainment newsletter! These will probably be posted at the end of every month and kinda talk about all the stuff that happened during that month. However this one will only talk about the stuff that happened this week cause I did way too much stuff this month. If you wanna see what you missed this month, just take a gander at the website (linked in my profile) and that'll tell you pretty much all you need to know. Alright enough yappin', lets get to the stuff that happened this week.
Squeen's Adventure: Definitive Edition News
Earlier this morning, I uploaded the official trailer for the Squeen's Adventure remake. It showed some gameplay and announced the release date of April 10th, 2024! Yes I'm aware that's a month and a half away, but I chose April 10th because it'll be the 4 year anniversary of Squeen being birthed into the world. It does also mean I'll have to sit on the game for like a month, but hey, funny date.
Also here's the trailer if you want to give it a watch:
Squeen's Adventure and KIPP
Officially as of today, both the original Squeen and the original KIPP are now hosted on this page! I moved them both here because I wanted all my projects to not be scattered across multiple accounts. Another reason is I can't log into the old TGC Games account to either move them or delete them, so good news if you still want to visit either of those pages. So now all of the games under the Jupitr name, and you don't have to dig through the internet to find them!
The sounds of Squeen are being hosted here!
Also officially as of today, all the soundtracks for every Squeen game are being hosted on GameJolt (and itch)! So if you ever want to check out any of those games' soundtracks, you can just head to their page and take a listen and even download them if you wish. All future soundtracks for any Jupitr game are now going to be hosted on SoundCloud, GameJolt, and Itch. I wanted to do this mainly so that all of the soundtracks were both easily findable and accessible, plus SoundCloud kinda sucks. The only downside to all of this is that GameJolt doesn't support album covers (but you can always head to the website if you want to appreciate my beautiful graphic design skills).
And that there concludes the newsletter! I'll hopefully have another one of these up at the end of March (unless I forget to, which I absolutely will). Thanks for takin' a quick read and I'll see you guys next month!
