Hello Batty Bats,

This is kind of an uncomfortable announcement I have to make, but it is for future reference (I will add this to my bio).

The topic focuses on if a person asks me to send them followers.

The reason why I am making this post? I was asked weeks ago. I ignored it. Then it was brought up once again today.

Unless it's someone I know personally, an indie creator I featured on my channel or experienced and liked their content, I am happy to share their work and their socials. :) I love supporting friends and creators as well. <3

However, if someone is asking me to "give" them followers out of nowhere, that makes it pretty uncomfortable. Especially if it's brought up more than once and even more so if it comes from a larger account than mine. Please, do not do this. Guilt tripping me is manipulative. Do not randomly send me new follows to try to get me to cooperate either. Doing so makes this feel incredibly disingenuous.

I am hesitant to do such a thing because I did this once with the AVA situation...we know how that turned out to be. That was the first and last time I did a follow callout because I was asked to do it.

I aim towards being very conscious of who I send my Batty Bats over to, if they choose to check someone out of course. I just want to spotlight people's content I enjoy and indie creators whose projects I like as well. <3 I will do that out of my own free will.

I do not do follow for follow and I cannot be "bribed" with more followers either. Like all things in life, we should aim towards working hard and earning our follows with our content.
