Hey everyone! To the few people that are following this project, it's nice that you're interested in this project. Now, let's go over what's been done for the game, even if only a little bit.
The Engine
The engine that will be used is going to be basically the same as the DELTARUNE: Prophecy Retold engine, but modified for this project in particular. The engine is being developed as DELTARUNE: Prophecy Retold, since that's how I've gotten work done. As such, since I've been focusing more on Deltarune: Prophecy Retold as of recent, development has gone rather smoothly in this regard.
Concepts
It's been awhile since I've actively worked on much regarding this project. But I'll probably have some ideas that we can share in the coming months!
General Development
This game isn't as complete as my Deltarune fan-game, that much is obvious. There's a substantial amount of content for that compared to Zetascript, but I hope to get at least a single chapter of DELTARUNE: Prophecy Retold done, and then work on this.
Ideal Release Plans
We have an idea of what we'd like to do regarding release. If everything goes smoothly, we'd like to release the game in parts, much like Deltarune. However, instead of Chapters, they'll be called Books.
Book 1 - Reincarnation (Demo 1.0)
Book 2 - Adventure's Dawn (Demo 2.0)
Book 3 - Fragments of History (Demo 3.0)
Book 4 - A Turning Point (Demo 4.0)
Book 5 - Conclusion (Full Release)
(Note that these are the ideal release plans, no actual plans have been set in stone yet.)
(These book names are NOT final. I don't even know if there will be 5 Books yet, I haven't figured out if I'll need more or less.)
Since this is an original project, I'll likely make it a paid release by... Demo 3? Not too sure yet, but we'll see. The price at the moment is undetermined, and I'm not even sure if it'll be on any external stores or not.
