Hey everyone.
Haven't posted in a while so here:
I haven't been on Gamejolt because I have been building a community outside of it. This community loves two of my most recent games, "The Monke Games" and "dodoo" (both Gorilla Tag VR fangames).
I've actually been feeling great recently. I've been learning Unity and its VR system lately, and I feel way more comfortable with game development as a whole. I've learned a lot of C#, and I am still learning. The transfer from Unreal Engine to Unity is weird, but I'm getting used to it. Does this mean I am going to be using Unity from now on? No, absolutely not. Unreal Engine and Unity both have their ups and downs, but what it really comes down to (for me at least) is what kind of project to make. If it is First Person horror with amazing graphics, Unreal Engine. If it is a VR action game with pretty good graphics, Unity.
Overall, I made this post to update y'all on what I have been working on recently, for I have been absent on Gamejolt. I will leave a link to my Discord server, where you can see most of the changes I have made through my gamedev journey. Thank you all, and I will be back on Gamejolt soon!
