Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by it.

It was unironically funny, entertaining, the characters were good, and I won't lie, I was genuinely invested in it, even if it was pretty corny.

Alright, if you're still here, I'm assuming you already saw the movie, or just don't care about spoilers. Either way, there aren't much in here, so you'll be fine either way.

First off, I really liked the setup. I was expecting it to be a Jumanji clone, but thank god it wasn't.

I really liked Garret as a character, even if his sacrifice was pretty obviously faked and he was okay in the end.

Jack Black's performance as Steve was everything I expected and more, though it is kinda sad that they changed the delivery of some lines.

The plot was good for the most part, even though it got repetitive and stretched out at some points.

The most disappointing thing about the movie was that Garret and Steve didn't kiss.
