Kirby 64 is probably the closest thing to a classic Kirby game having a CD quality soundtrack. Especially with the signature artificial sound style known throughout that era but without compression.


However, it's a normal N64 game, so all the sounds in the game have at least some compression.

Not that it's a bad thing, compression within older consoles really gave them character within their sound systems.

Artoon seems like it was very underrated game development company even when very key people worked there.

Naoto Ohshima, the one who originally designed Sonic the Hedgehog and Dr. Eggman, founded (or at least co-founded) this company.
