Lack Of Motivation

Hey peeps! I feel like we havn’t had a heart to heart conversation on here yet because my only interaction with you guys so far has been just informative updates every once in a while. As I am writing this post, I’m trying to think of a way to deliver the following message whilst not sounding selfish. First off, I’m only human; I’m not some huge developer and I’m learning along the way. It took me AGES to make Explorio and tecnically I’m still making it however the product that you all see today was very difficult to do. Its not an RPG Maker game, this is a Java Script game which means that I needed to learn how to code in Java Script (and HTML). What I’m saying is that it took a whole lot of effort to put this project together and it was all done in my spare time. Instead of having fun or watching a film, it was Explorio whenever I had time. Then, publishing time came along and I published the game on Gamejolt expecting to see what you guys thought of it and how I could improve it. The only problem is.. there is nearly noone here and I am receiving no feedback. Every day I log into gamejolt to see if there was any interaction with my game and there is little to none. Imagine my pain when I spend so much effort on this game and there is nearly nobody playing it. Yes, I know that Laseki did a small gameplay video on my game but it was only because I reached out to him to do it and I could tell that he didn’t like it. Of course, I’m still working on Explorio but I don’t have anything to hold on to that keeps me going. All I’m saying is that I wish there we’re more people out there interacting with Explorio and that aspect of it really upsets me…
