this little device is called the Lextendy Buddy, small and light easy to conceal in medium-sized backpacks. if you can't take the time to get your hands dirty on your travels then this is the tool you're looking for, before taking it off the shelf and going crazy there's gonna be some instructions you will need to follow,

the front of the lextendy buddy you will see a metal e shaped fork with 3 prongs this part will be doing all of your hard endeavours, at the side of the pole will be a red button if pressed the fork will launch out but not so far, if you want a better distance you need to have it upgraded, for the beginner side of the lextendy you will need to be careful on how you use it, grabbing moving platforms are ok but it will weaken the wire if you latch on for a long duration of time, grabbing small boxes are ok but advancing to bigger boxes will result in the wire to become damaged Take hold of small and medium-sized boxes in any direction and launch them in the air or slam them into the ground

smashing boxes can expose hidden gold paws or one-time power-ups, direct contact with enemies can be effective if foes are equipping a weapon giving you a better chance of not knocking off a bit of your life

if you upgrade this gadget at Sunshine's Shop your metal wire can be extended giving you a better distance when things get too crazy on a level plus increased durability and stability achieving better leverage on bigger obstacles Grab hidden items in hard-to-reach spots

Attach to ceilings and moving platforms but in other areas, your prongs will be unsuccessful

however, if upgraded at the store this will give you the ability to latch to any platform for a small amount of time

do not try and fling yourself over a platform unupgraded as this will result in your tool being hindered and damaged with the wire snapping
