Last month when I said "hopefully I'll be able to explore some new idea", I had no idea how much busier I would be in March 🤣

The good news is that I still have something to share!


Turned my daily 15min speed painting practice from simply trying to replicate colors from references to re-setting them with a different time period, light source, and adjusting the colors accordingly, of course. First few trials were off, but I feel like I've improved a bit over the past month.

Next up

My third month of 15-min daily color studies!

I mainly aimed to capture colors correctly and understand shading in a short time, but I found that my ability to capture shapes also improved a bit.

Maybe I can try using subjective colors this year!
