Latest patch note


Hi prisoners,

The version 0.5 is live now and with it a lot of new features :

- Levels & World

Added “La Lisière”, a dedicated hub,

Expanded the first level for greater scale and exploration,

Added a hand interaction to enter the first level,

Introduced the Casino (currently includes only the slot machine),

- Gameplay

Reworked shooting system,

Major enemy overhaul,

Players can now parry their own bullets,

Parrying is now more challenging,

Enemy bullets no longer pass through walls,

Sliding rework:,

Removed physics-driven behavior,

Now follows the player camera,

Adjusted to feel more fun and responsive,

Added a QoL feature: sliding automatically triggers when landing if the slide key is held,

Added a ground pound ability,

Launches enemies into the air,

Deals light damage,

Crouching has been disabled,

- Visuals & Effects

Added new particle effects when shooting,

Updated several textures,

Added PSX-style visual filter,

Added VFX and animations for the pistol,

Added a shotgun with model and animations,

Added a cannon with model,

Added katana animations (WIP),

- Audio

Added new sound effects:

Footsteps

Jump,

Slide

- Systems & UI

Added and fixed sliders for Volume, Sensitivity, and FOV,

They now save correctly,

Introduced a new font for the UI

WIP :

Initial work on a mini-boss

That conclude the 0.5 update, of course nothing is set in stone, the polishing part will come soon. Next update should be focused even more on the base gameplay for a better game feel. That is all for us, BREAK THE CYCLE.
