Hi Everyone!
I’m developing a Metroid Engine… from scratch.
Yeah, you read it well: from scratch, no Unity, no Unreal Engine, no Game Maker, and so on.
I’m using C++, Lua and SDL2 for scenes rendering, audio and keyboard input.
What’s is already stable and working:
1) Jump, SpinJump, Space Jump and Screw Attack;
2) Wall Jump;
3) Enemies’ AI written in Lua;
4) Destructible tiles;
5) Power grip;
6) Mophball;
7) Samus’ weapons and diagonal shot
I’m really proud of my little engine, I hope I’ll give this jam an enjoyable entry.
