Right off the bat, let me say I'm still really divided about this game.
On one hand, I really appreciate the ambition and the concepts. You can tell that SteelWool put a lot of efforts into the game and that they tried their best to innovate and give a new twist to the FNAF formula.
On the other hand, this is NOT the product we were advertised. The story is completely gone, the main antagonist makes a 30 seconds appearance through the whole game, there are glitches everywhere, the game is really unclear on your first playthrough, about 70% of the game is just walking from one area to the other, all the endings come out of nowhere without any context whatsoever.... etc

Right now, Security Breach feels unfinished and unpolished. I don't know what happened during development but the current state of the game is just sad.
I've played the game about three times already from beginning to end. While it is more enjoyable when you know where to go and what to do, it also becomes more boring.

I LOVE the characters and environnments. But all the rest is just lacking. And I know most people are saying "it's just an indie team, don't blame them", but like, that's NOT a good argument at all. If they are an indie team, then they should make an indie game. Once again, I appreciate the ambition, but bigger doesn't mean better.
Before the game released, I said that the only thing I wanted from SB was to be a fun game, which to me, isn't the case. Making something painfully hard for no reason is not the same than making something challenging. Most of my deaths were caused by messy AI, awful instructions and poor game design. I didn't keep track of the number of times I went around an enemy just for them to randomly teleport on me. Without exaggerating, this is the worst AI I've ever seen.
I'll probably give this game another chance whenever they start releasing patches. But even if the bugs are fixed, I don't think that'll make the game better. My biggest issue is the game design, and that's something that cannot be fixed easily unless they are willing to remake some parts entirely.
Soo yeah, right now I dislike this game way more than I like it. Every aspect of the game apart from the environnments was poorly planned out and it definitely shows.
Hopefully SteelWool learns from this experience
