Log of December (2020) - End of the year! Cool red-level progress and new characters!

Hello again,

First of all, we wish all of you reading this a merry christmas/holidays and a happy new year. πŸŽ„

This year started off slow with another delay to the demo release date, but we finally managed to get it out, this past November.

We're quite happy with how it turned out, and it has made us all the more excited for working on the next level (the red one).

December Development

  1. Creating new side characters for the red level.
Even though they might just be npc's, they're still people! Backstories and personality traits included

Here are the first sketches of them:

  2. Setting up code for the red level
The code needed to be changed up a little so that it would allow more diverse 'doors'. (not necessarily doors, but we use those for scene transitions )

  3. Migrating to a new version of Monogame
Still a W.I.P., but it could open up for new possibilities in the future.

  4. Caves!

That's it for 2020. We made it! See you next year in 2021!

Log of December (2022) - End of year wrap up! (What we've been doing these past silent months)

From all of us to all of you :)

I released the OST on my Soundcloud, along with a bonus track, titled 'Depth'.

I'm planning on returning to this game next year and expand/refine it a bit: A Water-dungeon, npc's and generally more to interact with.

Hey everyone!

This Game Dev community is really cool!

but could someone explain what the 'containment' tab is about?

I'm new to this, so sorry if the answer is right under my nose.

Thanks in advance! :)
