During the aftermath of WWII, a through loss, belief and war, something is manifested from the void, Kantokukan, a powerful entity who can take people's souls into a purgatory that can bend to his will. In 1991, a game demo releases for 'HedgeHog and Friends', and one day, Kantokukan takes control of one of these demos, and through the years he takes victims, into his world, only being reported through word of mouth, eventually this demo is lost.

During the 2010s someone finds this demo, and uploads it online, reviving Kantokukan's power.
