LOUDER Dev Update:


Hey hey! Its been awhile since I did a long development post like this, mainly just because I haven't made significant progress on LOUDER recently due to my life being so busy as of recently. However I am putting Wilted Roses aside for a bit to focus all my creative efforts on LOUDER, so with that let me tell you whats been going on.


LOUDER DEMO HAS BEEN CANCELLED...
IN FAVOR OF LOUDER CD
"Whats the difference?" you might ask, its simple really.
LOUDER will release in 2 release waves, CD 1 will feature all content from nights 1-5, and CD 2 will feature all content from Eidolon hour's 1-5. Both will include their custom shifts and extras content at launch of each update/release.

The biggest reason for this is simple, I don't have to focus on a 2nd version of the game for a demo and can focus on just the game itself and release it in 2 parts rather than keep people waiting even longer for the 2nd half when the 1st half is done. It also will help with people getting to understand the story better before entering the second half.

But TLDR; LOUDER Demo is cancelled, and instead will be released in two parts to let me work on the game more efficiently and get it out for you all to play quicker and to give time for people to absorb the first half of the games story.

This will not affect the final quality of the release, I am still going to take my time with this game and work it into something good for you all.


New placeholder/grey boxes have been made. My biggest pet peeve is that I hate using placeholders, but despite my preferences im pushing with using them soon. But first detailing the placeholders enough to make them at least prettier. Here is some work in progress ones!

The Blender 5.0 upgrade has gone pretty well. Here is a look at the office touch ups I have done so far!

There is plans to add more details, brighter lighting in areas, and to make it more lived in.


Last thing for this devlog is that soon there will be open positions again for LOUDER. These include:

Music Artist

2nd Character Modeller

Prop Modelling

UI Designer

Feedback and Testing

These positions will be open soon through google forms and on my community discord server (15+).


That's all I have for now that's actually considered development. Other things that I did not include are either just ideas or concepts that wont come to fruition anytime soon.

I am sorry its taken so long to actually show any progress currently, just because there is no progress worth showing that isn't minor changes or unfinished work. Life has been getting very busy due to situations out of my control and I prioritize that over hobbies. Do not fret however, I will be getting back to it. - VeniaDev

With 2025 approaching its end I want to say thank you all for sticking around another year of development! I know things have been slow but were slowly working up our goals.
