Major Announcement - The Split

This has been quite the big decision to make between us, but this will ultimately benefit the whole team in general.

There's been a bit of discourse between team members as to the expanded lore deviating away from what Devy had planned out for the project, though at the same time, I don't want the work we've done so far to go to waste. So, we came up to a solution to the problem.

We've ultimately decided that Sonic Reclassified will be split into two sub-projects, but under the same namesake. Each will be pretty much the same, but with tweaks here and there to make them stand out.

  • EXE Origins is the game how Devy had originally intended it to be; in this case, anything the Debut Demo had set out to create.

  • Genesis of Terror, on the other hand, contains the expanded storyline that you've seen a part of in these posts, alongside a greater plot to tell to differentiate Reclassified from its other collection-trilogy and Sonic.EXE game peers.

Now, don't worry. All of this stuff is going to remain on the same page, as @PrimalKoopaGaming did with the upcoming Sonic.EXE All-Stars remasters. As updates are rolled out, we'll let you know how further progress is coming along.

Until next time, have a good day/night, people!
