Yeah Im more or less completely abandoning the current battle and exploration systems, just so I can replace them with a 1st person view, like a VR video game should be. Also the tile walking system will be removed and your walking speed depends on certain Parameters you have.

Other Changes:

1.There is no actual real story

2.You do whatever you want to do

3.You explore at your own pace

4.You level at your pace

5.Everything you do, will impact everything.

6.There will be more than just the anime characters

7.Dialouge Choices will resemble Visual Novels options

8.Choices and actions will be remembered even when you don’t save

9.Damage will depend on your Sword Skills which will be viewable in the main menu

10.Attacks do not need Energy and Union Attacks are removed.

11.Enemies will not be sprites when in battle

12.Other players(Asuna, Kirito, etc) will act on their own

13.Enemies will still hit you, even when you’re not moving so battle is faster paced

14.Enemies will seem to breathe in battle

15.The HP bar will always be in the top left and will look like it did in the anime

16.Coming into contact with an enemy will make a battle area which shows the monsters real forms rather than the sprites

17.Other players will talk to you randomly outside battles, and in towns

1. Monsters death animation will Resemble the anime shatter animation

19.They will not always join your party when requested or respond to you when you speak to them.

20.Other players levels grow on their own as well.

21.You cannot allocate other players’ skill points upon leveling up

22.Sword Skills also increase when using that exact skill

24.Some items are only obtainable during events which I—me, the developer— will distribute

25.your save data is now moved to another location(why would I tell you where it is?) rather than the game folder

26.Player relationships will no longer be visible so you’ll have to judge that on your own

27,all players are relationship material

28.Players will have relationships between one another as well, so you might have romantic competition(Asuna will most likely fall for Kirito rather than you, and Vice Versa for Kirito)

29.your gender is whatever you choose

30.Players have their own opinions on what they like(Klein wont want a romantic relationship when you’re a male, Asuna likes males rather than females, etc.)

31.Players that die, or you decide to kill yourself will NEVER show up again. EVER.

32.Player Killing is now Included. (You bastards.)

33.Killing other players will impact your relationships with other characters.

34.You can join any guild you want, as long as you were invited or send a request.

35.You can leave/join/re-join the front lines as you please if your not in a guild

36.Enemies and Players on the world map will still be sprites

THIS IS PRETTY EXTREME SO MAKE SURE YOU READ THIS

1. If your character dies, your save data will be erased. completely. No traces of your existence will remain and everything will be initialized. Weapons, relationships, houses, armor, items, skills EVERYTHING WILL BE GONE. It’ll be like you just downloaded the game.

1. Some players, will give you rare info for a price(Info Brokers)

2. You won’t be a beta tester

3. Your physical appearance will also affect how players react to you. Such as wearing unappealing armor will not get you very noticed by the opposite sex(or the same sex because yes there are players like that, so SAO will support you’re preferences)

4. Marriage only earns you a special ring, if divorced that ring is removed.

5. Sexual Harassment is an option, although it will result in you either being thrown in jail, the player freaking out and running from you, other players stepping in, an Orange Status, a large fee of money, and jail time.

6. Being thrown in jail will cost you a large sum of money, reputation loss, and a few random items.

7. hitting on other characters while your wife/husband or boyfriend/girlfriend is around will make them unhappy(DUH)

8. Multiple Marriages is not Allowed

9. If you force divorce someone your inventory is COMPLETELY removed, including your equipped items

10. If your spouse ends up in disliking you, they will ask for a divorce. Accepting this will allow you to pursue other romantic interests.
